LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — With the announcement that WrestleMania would be returning to the West Coast, and to the entertainment capital of the world for the first time since 1993, many wrestling fans across the country are planning their visits to Las Vegas to take in the “granddaddy of them all” at Allegiant Stadium. Here’s what you should know and expect when it comes to Las Vegas and WrestleMania 41.

How Do You Get WrestleMania 41 Tickets?

Tickets to WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium have not yet gone on sale. For now, WWE is offering “early access opportunities” to snag packages before the general on-sale date. To grab one of those passes, a non-refundable deposit is required. That deposit will apply to the total balance of tickets to WrestleMania and will include “one-of-a-kind experiences” alongside the tickets. As of Aug. 1, only bowl seating was available via this purchase route as floor seating had sold out.

General ticket sales are expected to start sometime in 2024 for the two-night mega event, which takes place on April 19 and 20. Stay with 8newsnow.com for updates as to when they become available.

What is WWE World at Wrestlemania 41?

In 2024 at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, WWE held a five-day interactive experience called “WWE World.” The event, which featured live gaming tournaments, fan experiences, panels and housed live broadcasts like The Slammys, WWE’s fan choice awards, and the Pat McAfee Show, took place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

In 2025, WWE will once again host WWE World, according to Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority officials. The event will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center just east of the Las Vegas Strip. The event will likely feature similar events to that of 2024’s in Philadelphia, including meet-and-greet opportunities and a WWE Superstore.

What WWE Events Will Surround WrestleMania in Las Vegas?

Historically WWE will host the Friday Night Smackdown before WrestleMania and Monday Night Raw, which will then be broadcast on Netflix, in the vicinity of WrestleMania itself. WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas will keep that tradition going, according to LVCVA officials. In May, Lisa Motley, vice president of sports and special events for the LVCVA, said that those events would take place at MGM properties.

This implies that these surrounding events could take place at T-Mobile Arena, home of the Las Vegas Golden Knights and 2018’s Elimination Chamber premium live event, and WWE’s sister company, UFC’s larger events. Another option is MGM Grand Garden Arena at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on the south side of the Las Vegas Strip. That venue has played host to the last two WWE events in Las Vegas. A dark horse candidate could be Michelob ULTRA Arena, which regularly hosts the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces.

There has not been a mention of a WrestleMania weekend event set aside for Sphere, which will host WWE’s sister company’s UFC 306 event on Sept. 14. WWE’s Hall of Fame ceremony historically takes place around WrestleMania, as does NXT Stand and Deliver, a spotlight for WWE’s televised developmental league.

Where to stay for WrestleMania 41?

There is virtually no limit to the places to stay in the entertainment capital of the world for WrestleMania 41. According to Statista there were more than 150,000 hotel rooms available in Las Vegas in 2023. With newer offerings like Fontainebleau Las Vegas becoming available on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, there is no shortage of lodging available a short rideshare away from Allegiant Stadium.

For those hoping to walk to the stadium for WrestleMania 41, resorts on the south side of the Las Vegas Strip will be the best bet. Using the Hacienda Avenue walkway, which is typically closed to vehicle traffic during big events at Allegiant Stadium, the 15-minute, less-than-a-mile walk from a resort like Mandalay Bay, or nearby properties like Delano Las Vegas, Luxor Hotel & Casino should be an easy enough route to WrestleMania.

A cluster of hotels south of Allegiant Stadium also proves to be very walkable. Those offerings include Holiday Inn Express Stadium Area, Courtyard By Marriott Las Vegas Stadium Area, Residence Inn By Marriott Las Vegas Stadium Area, and Staybridge Suites Las Vegas Stadium District.

Ridesharing to Allegiant Stadium is a breeze from any Las Vegas Strip resort, however it should be noted that during Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, Uber announced a $10 surcharge on drop-offs at the Super Bowl’s designated dropoff zone on West Mesa Vista Ave from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on game day and a $25 surcharge on pickups from the designated pickup zone in the Delano Hotel parking garage from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m, so while rideshare may be easy, there’s no guarantee it will be cheap should those surcharges be placed into effect once again.

What will the weather in Las Vegas be like for WrestleMania 41?

The average high in Las Vegas in April is 81 degrees, with an average low of 56 degrees. There’s always a chance of high and low-temperature spikes in the Mojave Desert. The record high for April is 99 degrees, with the record low sitting at 31 degrees.

It’s normal to have a few rainy days with monsoonal moisture in April in Las Vegas, and winds are possible as well. Luckily, Allegiant is a domed stadium and should allow protection from any elements that may arise on the weekend of April 19 and 20.

The walk to and from the parking lot and any hotel rooms, however, may not be. It could be wise to dress in layers for WrestleMania and bring an umbrella, just in case. As the event nears, keep an eye on 8newsnow.com for updates from chief meteorologist Tedd Florendo and forecasters Sherry Swensk, Nate Tannenbaum, Mary Jane Belleza, and Jerry Brown on what to expect for WrestleMania weekend.

Live sporting events have long been a place for fans to spend a few hours blowing off steam, but its hard to imagine a more stark example than the world of small-scale professional wrestling, where the vitriolic dance between fan and performer isnt just an accepted part of the production its integral to its success. What else is going on in Las Vegas around WrestleMania?

Alongside the massive WrestleMania weekend, a series of smaller, independent shows and fan events usually manifest in the vicinity of the event. More than 50 independent wrestling shows surrounded 2024’s WrestleMania in the Philadelphia area, with numerous signings, recordings, and meet-and-greets scheduled for the week prior to the event.

Although it is not confirmed which professional wrestling events will surface with WrestleMania in Las Vegas, it’s likely there will be many.

Who will headline WrestleMania 41?

The nature of pro wrestling means you never know what is going to happen until it happens. As such, it’s never a lock as to who you’ll see at a WWE premium live event. However, WrestleMania is the grandest of WWE’s stages, so it can be expected that WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas will feature the brightest stars of professional wrestling.

It should be assumed that most of the WWE championships will be defended on WrestleMania weekend. Appearances from the company’s biggest stars seem likely to include “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Jade Cargill, Damian Priest, Seth “Freakin’” Rollins, Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, Liv Morgan, Sami Zayn, Becky Lynch, Drew McIntire, Gunther, Finn Balor, and LA Knight.

On July 31, WWE legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin teased a possible return to professional wrestling in some capacity at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. The “Texas Rattlesnake,” now Nevada resident, told The Athletic that he won’t typically leave the state but added, “WrestleMania next year is in Vegas. That’s in Nevada.”

It was announced in June that WrestleMania 41 would be superstar John Cena’s last as an active competitor on WWE’s roster, so it’s safe to assume that he will have a match on the card. A wildcard, however, is WWE legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Johnson wrestled in the main event of WrestleMania 40’s first night in a tag team match. It is entirely possible, but not guaranteed, that The Rock will appear again in a WrestleMania match, this time in Las Vegas. As the road to WrestleMania continues through Summerslam, Survivor Series, and the Royal Rumble, the company’s plans will become more clear.

Months away from the event, many questions remain as to what to expect when professional wrestling’s biggest weekend comes to the entertainment capital of the world. Stay with 8newsnow.com for the latest on what to expect from the star-studded spectacular.
